Eye Examinations in Llangefni

At our family-run opticians in Llangefni, we have been caring for local eyes since 1990. What started with a grandfather, passed to father, and is now led by Geraint Allport and his wife Jo, remains rooted in the same values today: honest advice, advanced clinical care and a warm welcome for every patient.

We provide eye examinations for both private and NHS patients, taking the time to really understand your vision, your eye health and your lifestyle.

Unrushed 40-minute eye examinations

Your eye examination lasts around 40 minutes, so you are never rushed. We believe good eyecare starts with listening, which is why we take the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions you may have.

Our examinations are suitable for all ages, from young children to older adults, and we tailor every appointment to you.

Clinically advanced eyecare you can trust

We are proud to offer state-of-the-art technology as standard, helping us detect eye health issues earlier and monitor changes over time.

OCT Scans

OCT allows us to look beneath the surface of the eye and check the health of the retina and optic nerve in great detail. It is especially helpful for detecting conditions such as glaucoma and macular changes, often before you notice any symptoms.

Clarus Ultra Wide field imaging

Optomap gives us a wide-angle image of the back of your eye without the need for eye drops in most cases. This helps us assess your eye health more comfortably and efficiently, while still being extremely thorough.

These advanced scans are offered to all our patients and set us apart locally as a clinically advanced practice.
